Khaled, your ties to the FM are obvious. The FM is only one part of this government. I have recently returned from Lebanon and was shocked to see that the government still foes not exist on the ground. When Michel Aoun comments on the way the government is handling security, he does so knowing a lot more than you do about what is required to restructure the security forces etc. It is said that the current Interior Minister has absolutely no control on the ground of security forces. If he is unable to establish his authority, he should be honest to us about it, and manybe even consider resigning his post and allowing others to have a go.

Your loyalty to the FM is honourable, but a little blind. Constructive critisism should also come from this blog, otherwise you are really only a "yes man" or a fan, as apposed to a reformer.

Last night we heard Murr (who was a Syrian ally, and his uncle and father still are syrian allies) openly accusing Syria. Syria was responsible for the intelligence and security forces in lebanon for 30 years. Do you really believe that these forces after 30 years of reporting to Syrian will point out hte syrian spies or the ones putting the bombs??? I doubt it..

As for GMA, and the sarcasm, if he was truelly giving constructive critisizim I would have welcomed it; but my post was based on the following:

Occasion one when he was having a TV interview he made fun by saying (we got 10 while you got 1 bomb).... referring to sharkie and gharbie..

Occasion two: After the boimb that targeted may chediak, he mocked and he was being sarcastic...

if the Mocking and sarcasm stops and is replaced by constructive critisizim.. I would be the first one cheering.

Also, When he stops saying "why the bombs target christian areas" I will salute him.. we all know he was the one who started this phrase, and how this phrase causes division... If I were him, I would have said that ALL of lebanon is targeted, and not a group of Lebanese are..

i would never want to defend the General because i do not agree with most of his positions, but i must admit that the government is a bunch of puppets.

i was humiliated when i saw the minister of the interior expressing his impotence on tv. what is the role of all the secret services, the army, the internal security forces, the investigation services of the government and those tousands and thousands of agents in the lebanese government? why aren't they doing their job when we need them the most? what are this puppet government and this puppet army doing?

where on earth could you find a minister who talks about ghosts? what are we? a bunch of kids? what is this place? a big hide and seek arena?

mr minister, do you job for fucking's sake. use your intelligence services. grow balls or resign.

i repeat: i am neither a fan of aoun, nor of any one else. i just feel that my government is only good in giving speeches. this government is the fruit of the free elections. it is supposed to do its job.
